Keep one email address reserved only for your most critical accounts

#Digital 📅 Year-round

Most people use one main email address for everything — newsletters, online shopping, forums, and banking alike — which means a breach at any random site you signed up for once can expose the same address an attacker needs to target your bank or primary email recovery. Keep a separate address, never used to sign up for anything but your genuinely critical accounts (banking, primary email itself, government services), so a routine breach somewhere else doesn't hand over the one detail that matters most.
