Email, banking, and most major platforms can notify you the moment your account is accessed from a device or location they haven't seen before — but it's usually an opt-in setting buried in account security preferences, not something turned on by default. Enable it for email first, since a compromised inbox is often how an attacker resets everything else. It won't stop a break-in on its own, but it's often the difference between catching one the same day and finding out weeks later.
