If someone calls claiming to be your bank, a government office, or a delivery company and something feels off, hang up — don't argue, don't stay on the line to "verify." Then call back using a number you already have saved or find independently (the number on your card, the official website), never one the caller gives you or texts you. A scammer controls every number they hand you; they don't control the one you already trust.
