Check what your employer's public staff directory reveals about you

Auditing your own accounts covers what you post — it doesn't cover what a workplace, school, professional association, or licensing board publishes about you on its own website: a full name paired with a job title, direct phone line, office location, or headshot, often with no way for you to opt out individually. Check your employer's public staff page (and any professional directory you're listed in) the same way you'd check your own social media, and if a direct line or exact office location feels like more exposure than the role needs, ask HR or the relevant office whether it can be scoped back.
